Narrative:

On 11/fri/90 at approximately xa a.M. Local, the hays MOA and the bear paw went hot. The controllers working ZLC sectors 18 and 19 which contain this airspace were not notified. Sector 18 had an IFR lifeguard aircraft in the hays MOA at the time it went hot. The controllers involved became aware of the situation when the fgt assigned to work in the airspace departed gtf. Although there were 3 area supervisors on duty that day, one had been in the area for some time. It was later discovered that the supervisors had been notified that the airspace was scheduled to go hot, but the supervisors failed to tell the controllers working the area.
