Jet passed from east to west over our position by 300'. Appeared to be vectored onto the 36 mount vernon visibility approach from the east side. Our flight had been vectored by a visibility approach cleared to the course from the west side. We maintained visibility sep as requested.

Narrative: JET PASSED FROM E TO W OVER OUR POS BY 300'. APPEARED TO BE VECTORED ONTO THE 36 MOUNT VERNON VIS APCH FROM THE E SIDE. OUR FLT HAD BEEN VECTORED BY A VIS APCH CLRED TO THE COURSE FROM THE W SIDE. WE MAINTAINED VIS SEP AS REQUESTED.
