Narrative:
While approximately 25 mi east of fyv, (en route from mem to fyv) right (#2) chip detector illuminated. Abnormal procedures carried out (reduced power) we observed a slight rise in engine oil temperature and decided to precautionary shut down. Shut down procedures accomplished. Notified ATC, (requested crash, fire and rescue to standby) F/a and passenger. Landed uneventfully at fyv approximately 9 mins later.
