Narrative:
Number 1 engine; number 2 squib was removed to comply with [log write up]. Replacement squib could not be located or shipped. Direct supervisor instructed technicians to reinstall known bad part. Technicians being intimidated to do tasks that are unethical and unsafe are unacceptable; just to get the aircraft out. This seems to be a recurring issue on midnight shift.
