Narrative:
A VFR multi engine introductory ride to engine out procedures, slow flight, stall recognition (both approach and departure). There was a strong southerly wind causing the aircraft to drift north during a training session. With low visibility and not having radios set up to identify the arsa its possible the aircraft touched the southwest corner of the flint, mi, arsa. The discovery came when we proceeded to ptk, our base of operation. We set ptk VOR for identification of location and found we were way further northwest than usual. With an immediate turn to 180 degree we descended out of 4500' to 2800' MSL. I felt that we were not near the arsa. An instrument in back said I penetrated fnt arsa. I should have immediately used LORAN to check distance or the DME on board but keeping busy flying aircraft with student on descent marginal VFR rain, VFR student I failed to use DME for precise location identification. Corrective action. No multi-engine altitude work marginal conditions low visibility. Also use all navigation equipment on board to help keep track of location. Most of all spend more time on pilotage, landmarks, etc, during training to prevent recurrence.

Title: TRAINING FLT PENETRATED ARSA.
Narrative: A VFR MULTI ENG INTRODUCTORY RIDE TO ENG OUT PROCS, SLOW FLT, STALL RECOGNITION (BOTH APCH AND DEP). THERE WAS A STRONG SOUTHERLY WIND CAUSING THE ACFT TO DRIFT N DURING A TRNING SESSION. WITH LOW VISIBILITY AND NOT HAVING RADIOS SET UP TO IDENT THE ARSA ITS POSSIBLE THE ACFT TOUCHED THE SW CORNER OF THE FLINT, MI, ARSA. THE DISCOVERY CAME WHEN WE PROCEEDED TO PTK, OUR BASE OF OPERATION. WE SET PTK VOR FOR IDENTIFICATION OF LOCATION AND FOUND WE WERE WAY FURTHER NW THAN USUAL. WITH AN IMMEDIATE TURN TO 180 DEG WE DSNDED OUT OF 4500' TO 2800' MSL. I FELT THAT WE WERE NOT NEAR THE ARSA. AN INSTR IN BACK SAID I PENETRATED FNT ARSA. I SHOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY USED LORAN TO CHK DISTANCE OR THE DME ON BOARD BUT KEEPING BUSY FLYING ACFT WITH STUDENT ON DSNT MARGINAL VFR RAIN, VFR STUDENT I FAILED TO USE DME FOR PRECISE LOCATION IDENTIFICATION. CORRECTIVE ACTION. NO MULTI-ENG ALT WORK MARGINAL CONDITIONS LOW VISIBILITY. ALSO USE ALL NAV EQUIP ON BOARD TO HELP KEEP TRACK OF LOCATION. MOST OF ALL SPEND MORE TIME ON PILOTAGE, LANDMARKS, ETC, DURING TRNING TO PREVENT RECURRENCE.
