Narrative:
We were descending to 11000'. At 11500' we experienced total hydraulic failure. We pulled our power to flight idle to reduce our airspeed fr landing gear extension (while we still had some pressure remaining). The extra drag caused us to drop to 10700'. We climbed immediately back to 11000'. (By the way), the gear came down and we landed safely.
