Narrative:

Upon arrival in phl, was informed by baggage handlers that a box marked, 'class 3 explosive; danger--do not load on passenger aircraft,' had been loaded in den as regular, checked passenger baggage. No hazardous material paperwork had been presented to crew. Evidently this box, which contained military ammunition, had been checked by an army sgt as regular baggage. Obviously attention to detail and dangerous goods recognition should have been trained better.
