Narrative:
Some safety concerns:we continue to prevent smart bags with lithium batteries from being loaded but unfortunately there is no way to monitor how many bags are getting by. When an rse identifies a smart bag there is no process that informs the rse if the bag was inspected; who inspected the bag and if powered by lithium was the lithium battery was removed. Smart bags are becoming harder and harder to detect or determine if the bag is powered by lithium batteries. This is creating an unmanageable threat.
