Narrative:
B787 have a constant red illuminating padlock on every boarding door. Other carriers have an illuminating red padlock when armed and a green padlock when disarmed. Vendors have expressed concern that this method of a constant red padlock illuminating in the door could lead to a possible deployment as human error (complacency) could occur as an agent will just assume the door is disarmed when in actual fact; it is armed.
