Narrative:
Lost one engine cylinder in flight. Informed tower of engine trouble and need of immediate clearance for landing. Landing was uneventful. Screws and bolts were missing or torn off cylinder number 3. Awaiting more details from engine repair shop to cause. Plane had annual done [earlier in the year] with excellent cylinder pressure readings. All engine instruments were in the green prior to cylinder going out. Pre-flight check and run-up were normal.
