Narrative:
We landed on runway 25L at xa:57Z turned right onto taxiway 47 and held short of runway 25R. At approximately xb:04Z, the tower controller cleared us to 'cross runway 25R and contact ground control on 121.75.' upon establishing contact with ground, we were cleared to taxi via taxiway 48 with instructions to switch to 121.65 at the '50 yard line.' as we were about to jog left onto kilo inner, an air carrier small transport flashed past our nose at a high rate of speed. He was headed west on kilo inner and was moving so fast, that he was gone before I had a chance to step on the brakes. There was no warning or indication from ground control that the other aircraft was there. I reported the incident at approximately xb:30Z to tower supervisor via telephone.
