Narrative:
During takeoff roll; experienced engine roughness and loud metal on metal sound. Ip and pui immediately recognized the sound and initiated an aborted takeoff to taxi clear of the runway. The engine oil temp at the time of the incident was approximately 220 degrees and oil pressure was indicating in green. Chts and egts all in the green as well.

Title: SR20 instructor pilot reported rejecting the takeoff after experiencing engine roughness and metal-on-metal sounds.
Narrative: During takeoff roll; experienced engine roughness and loud metal on metal sound. IP and PUI immediately recognized the sound and initiated an aborted takeoff to taxi clear of the runway. The engine oil temp at the time of the incident was approximately 220 degrees and oil pressure was indicating in green. CHTs and EGTs all in the green as well.
