Narrative:
Taxi and takeoff, fuel tanks were balanced. At cruise the right tank dropped to 300 pounds less than the left fuel tank. Flight manual split is 200 pounds maximum. Boost pump and xfeed actions made no impact on 300 pounds split. Declared an emergency at iad for fuel tank imbalance, landed safely, checklists used at all time.

Title: COMMUTER LTT DIVERTED TO ALTERNATE BECAUSE A FUEL IMBALANCE DEVELOPED THAT WAS IN EXCESS OF OPERATION MANUAL MAX AND IT COULD NOT BE CORRECTED BY CHECKLIST PROC.
Narrative: TAXI AND TKOF, FUEL TANKS WERE BALANCED. AT CRUISE THE R TANK DROPPED TO 300 LBS LESS THAN THE L FUEL TANK. FLT MANUAL SPLIT IS 200 LBS MAX.
