Narrative:
Departing new haven VFR en route to ZZZ; I unintentionally flew through the class D airspace of a private heliport while talking with new york approach. The class D airspace was not depicted on the jeppesen database in my cockpit. I thought I was flying around all class D airspace but was not aware of the sikorsky heliport airspace. The event would not have occurred had the airspace data in my database included the private heliport.
