Narrative:
We were doing our run ups before take off along side runway 29 outside the markers and lost track of their location. The damage done to the prop was only one blade tip and I was able to fly back to my airport. Lowering the markers or having a designated run up area might have helped.

Title: PA-28 pilot reported that during engine runup; propeller struck a runway marker; resulting in damage to one blade.
