Narrative:
[Ramp] personnel was enroute from the fuel farm back to the remote parking area with AC (air conditioning) unit. While traveling along the service road; the wheel axle broke on the AC unit. This is the 5th accident with regards to transporting our AC units. [A few days ago]; a [ramp] member left via ambulance after getting injured under the same conditions. These large units are not designed to be driven over 5-MPH nor driven over long distances.
