Narrative:

Aircraft with 5 MEL gripes. Captain's radio altimeter, flight directors--both captain and first officer, CAT I only. Lower beacon inoperative. Also previous history of G/south erratic. On approach to dfw flight was taken from normal landing on east side of dfw to west side using more than normal fuel. On this approach got heading light on FMA. Later went out. Also TCAS kept going off with 'traffic'--unable to shut off. With this interference missed radio call from approach to go to tower. Approaching dfw, 600', autoplt and autothrottles both went off and wouldn't reset, and localizer and G/south wouldn't arm on altitude hold. Made missed approach to okc, which dispatch had advised by radio would be the best and closest. With dfw 200' overcast and 1 1/4 mi visibility, it was this captain's judgement, since we were now only raw data 250' minimums. Also channel a of fuel gauge went out and unable to shut off loud TCAS 'traffic.' note: unable to reach dfw dispatch 3 different times--no help. Made raw data approach to okc 500' overcast with 1 1/2 mi visibility. Landed safely with no help from dispatch, with dispatcher suggesting later I should have made another low on fuel raw data approach 250' minimums to dfw, only 200' ceiling. She was a dispatcher for only 3 days. On ground after talking to tul tech, they stated a software problem with TCAS on all this type aircraft. Also that aircraft shouldn't be dispatched west/O both computers replaced.

Title: FLT CREW OF LGT MISSED APCH AT DFW AND PROCEEDED TO OKC FOR LNDG. APCH MADE WITH RAW DATA INSTRUMENTS ONLY.

Narrative: ACFT WITH 5 MEL GRIPES. CAPT'S RADIO ALTIMETER, FLT DIRECTORS--BOTH CAPT AND F/O, CAT I ONLY. LOWER BEACON INOP. ALSO PREVIOUS HISTORY OF G/S ERRATIC. ON APCH TO DFW FLT WAS TAKEN FROM NORMAL LNDG ON E SIDE OF DFW TO W SIDE USING MORE THAN NORMAL FUEL. ON THIS APCH GOT HDG LIGHT ON FMA. LATER WENT OUT. ALSO TCAS KEPT GOING OFF WITH 'TFC'--UNABLE TO SHUT OFF. WITH THIS INTERFERENCE MISSED RADIO CALL FROM APCH TO GO TO TWR. APCHING DFW, 600', AUTOPLT AND AUTOTHROTTLES BOTH WENT OFF AND WOULDN'T RESET, AND LOC AND G/S WOULDN'T ARM ON ALT HOLD. MADE MISSED APCH TO OKC, WHICH DISPATCH HAD ADVISED BY RADIO WOULD BE THE BEST AND CLOSEST. WITH DFW 200' OVCST AND 1 1/4 MI VISIBILITY, IT WAS THIS CAPT'S JUDGEMENT, SINCE WE WERE NOW ONLY RAW DATA 250' MINIMUMS. ALSO CHANNEL A OF FUEL GAUGE WENT OUT AND UNABLE TO SHUT OFF LOUD TCAS 'TFC.' NOTE: UNABLE TO REACH DFW DISPATCH 3 DIFFERENT TIMES--NO HELP. MADE RAW DATA APCH TO OKC 500' OVCST WITH 1 1/2 MI VISIBILITY. LANDED SAFELY WITH NO HELP FROM DISPATCH, WITH DISPATCHER SUGGESTING LATER I SHOULD HAVE MADE ANOTHER LOW ON FUEL RAW DATA APCH 250' MINIMUMS TO DFW, ONLY 200' CEILING. SHE WAS A DISPATCHER FOR ONLY 3 DAYS. ON GND AFTER TALKING TO TUL TECH, THEY STATED A SOFTWARE PROB WITH TCAS ON ALL THIS TYPE ACFT. ALSO THAT ACFT SHOULDN'T BE DISPATCHED W/O BOTH COMPUTERS REPLACED.
