Narrative:
Returning to home base after a x-country flight was uneventful until a final ILS approach and landing. My companion (who happens to be a cfii) and I decided to do an ILS INS approach. 10 mi out I verified the fuel selector was feeding on both tanks and I asked if I should put the gear down. The cfii indicated we would drop the gear at the OM. I then proceeded to set mixture full rich and checked the propeller. At the OM our speed was fast. After stabilizing the speed and concentrating on the G/south and localizer we found ourselves below G/south. Applying additional power, we established G/south at DH and proceeded to land. Unfortunately the gear was never checked at the OM or after. Note: gear warning horn will not activate unless manifold pressure is below 13'. I believe this incident happened because I have done a lot of commercial flying with this cfii recently and he was comfortable with my flying abilities. The relaxed cfii and my very rusty INS flying skills combined resulted in a gear up landing.

Title: COMMERCIAL RATED PLT AND CFI IN SMA LANDED GEAR UP.
Narrative: RETURNING TO HOME BASE AFTER A X-COUNTRY FLT WAS UNEVENTFUL UNTIL A FINAL ILS APCH AND LNDG. MY COMPANION (WHO HAPPENS TO BE A CFII) AND I DECIDED TO DO AN ILS INS APCH. 10 MI OUT I VERIFIED THE FUEL SELECTOR WAS FEEDING ON BOTH TANKS AND I ASKED IF I SHOULD PUT THE GEAR DOWN. THE CFII INDICATED WE WOULD DROP THE GEAR AT THE OM. I THEN PROCEEDED TO SET MIXTURE FULL RICH AND CHKED THE PROP. AT THE OM OUR SPD WAS FAST. AFTER STABILIZING THE SPD AND CONCENTRATING ON THE G/S AND LOC WE FOUND OURSELVES BELOW G/S. APPLYING ADDITIONAL PWR, WE ESTABLISHED G/S AT DH AND PROCEEDED TO LAND. UNFORTUNATELY THE GEAR WAS NEVER CHKED AT THE OM OR AFTER. THE RELAXED CFII AND MY VERY RUSTY INS FLYING SKILLS COMBINED RESULTED IN A GEAR UP LNDG.
