Narrative:
I was the PF (pilot flying). Flight was dispatched from ZZZZ to ZZZ2 with pack 2 on MEL. Normal take off; on climb I noticed cabin altitude at 13;000 ft.; I yelled out cabin altitude is high; emergency descent. We descended to 10;000 ft. No masks dropped. At 10;000 ft.; we assessed problem. Pack 1 now failed. I told captain [to advise ATC] and divert to ZZZ1. Captain agreed and [sent] ACARS [message to] dispatch. Dispatch said no; go to ZZZZ. Now we are overweight. We held for a while to burn off approximately 22;000 ft. Landed uneventfully. Crash fire rescue equipment (crash fire rescue) called out as well as paramedics. Cabin was getting hot. Captain kept calling flight attendant (flight attendants) to check up on them and passengers due to heat in back. We landed underweight. Also no ECAM warning was ever received as pack 1 failed. No warning; no bells; no horns; etc. My ears were normal on climb out. No popping until I caught the cabin climbing.
