Narrative:
The threshold for runway has been temporarily displaced by 500 meters (approximately 1500 feet). There was some kind of NOTAM about runway 8; but it is completely indecipherable. The only other place this information appeared was as a note on the company field report. Pilots should not have to rely on field reports to get important information like displaced thresholds. And NOTAMS about displaced thresholds should be understandable.
