Narrative:

Upon arriving to bos; I was randomly selected for secondary screening I was told to go to tsa pre check. When I got to that line; there was about 45 passenger ahead of me. I was told we cannot go to front of line. When I had my bags x-rayed (I put empty bowls in front and back of my bags signaling to tsa agent I was crew); my food bag was pulled for additional screening. I called scheduling and informed them I was more than likely going to be late to gate. I arrived to gate a few minutes late. My crew informed me they completed my checks. Allow working crew member to jump ahead in line when getting secondary screening consistently throughout all airports might have helped.
