Narrative:

The aircraft was landed gear up with the gear switch in the down position, 3 green lights, no horn. I had never flown this aircraft before. It is possible the angle of the sun on the green lights and a distraction at the last min of an aircraft that pulled onto the runway contributed to not realizing the green lights were not operating correctly if, in fact, they weren't. I landed on the centerline. The was no injury to myself or my mechanic. The aircraft damage was limited to propeller, belly skin, and tip of flap.
