Narrative:
Aircraft [logbook deferral sheet] ite 72XXXXX. Aircraft arrived with the following entry ( yaw damper 1 fault ) accomplished troubleshooting using post flight report; which showed a class 2 fault for the yaw damper sys. No ECAM status message displayed. Accomplished efcs 1 and 2 sys test both passed with no display faults. Contacted [maintenance control]; the advised that they would raised a [repetitive check deferral] for a class 2 fault; under the guidance of the [maintenance control] the following entry was made in the log book. (Tsm intro class 2 maintenance message reference 8.a.5D final rectification no longer than 800 flight hours)
