Narrative:
Upon touchdown on runway 15L; port-side tire blew and pulled the aircraft to the left. Aircraft departed runway into dirt area between runway and taxiway. Aircraft sustained no damage other than blown tire; and no damage to objects on the ground occurred. Aircraft was towed to maintenance facility where tire was changed.tire was relatively new (less than two years old). Likely cause of blow-out was harder than usual landing and/or excessive speed and energy upon touchdown.
