Narrative:
While on approach RNAV xx at ZZZ; we got a GPWS terrain terrain. Since we were IMC we immediately initiated an escape that quickly resulted in a go-around. We notified tower of the go-around. They asked the reason and we told them; for terrain. We were then vectored for another approach to runway xx and landed without incident.
