Narrative:
On arrival to ZZZ flying the zzzzz direct to ZZZZZ1 at 8000 ft. We observed what could have been a possible lightning strike. At the time we were in moderate rain on the arrival to ZZZ. No abnormal engine or instrument indications. Notified ATC and continued approach. Landed at ZZZ on runway xxr and taxied to the gate. A log book entry was made of a possible lightning strike.
