Narrative:

Before our flight; there was an odor in the cabin. The aircraft was written up and maintenance could not duplicate the issue that caused the smell. When we were [enroute]; the flight attendants called and said that they were smelling the odor again which was described as a locker room type smell; while conferring with dispatch the flight attendants called again and said there were a few passengers complaining of the smell around the emergency exit row. One of the flight attendants reported feeling dizzy; and soon after the other two flight attendants from the back of the aircraft reported the same. We decided to divert the flight to ZZZ. We did experience some burning of the eyes but there was no odor or fumes in the flight deck.
