Narrative:
My aircraft was on an instrument flight plan from I77. Prior to cancelling, I obtained an airport advisory from 4i8's unicom at 25 NM out. Runway 32 in use with left quartering crosswind. Cancelled IFR at 20 NM out and made general traffic call at '20 NM descending for upwind runway 32 at 4i8 (metropolitan).' similar calls at 15, 10, 5, and upwind, crosswind, downwind, base and final. No other aircraft heard on frequency or observed. Landing light, beacon and wingtip strobes all operating. I was concentrating intensely (factor) on crosswind landing. As upwind wheel touched down, passenger noticed another aircraft on 3/4 mi final to runway 14, downwind! We had no options. Concluded landing and rollout. On clearing runway, I queried unicom if any other aircraft had reported in the pattern. None had. At that moment, aircraft B (now midfield on the runway centerline) reported 'downwind to runway 14.' aircraft B was advised that runway 32 was in use. Aircraft B then advised he was 'upwind to runway 32.' landed west/O incident. He had flown a long, low, straight-in final. No landing light, strobes or beacon observed. I expressed my concern to FBO, not trusting myself to discuss it with PIC of aircraft B. Suggested he mention far 91.113 (east) and (G) to aircraft B. To digress, aircraft B did finally see us on the runway when he was on short final and initiated a go around. Aircraft B never moved off to the right side of the runway on go around.

Title: SMA ON LNDG AT NON TWR ARPT HAD CONFLICT WITH ACFT LNDG OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
Narrative: MY ACFT WAS ON AN INSTRUMENT FLT PLAN FROM I77. PRIOR TO CANCELLING, I OBTAINED AN ARPT ADVISORY FROM 4I8'S UNICOM AT 25 NM OUT. RWY 32 IN USE WITH L QUARTERING XWIND. CANCELLED IFR AT 20 NM OUT AND MADE GENERAL TFC CALL AT '20 NM DSNDING FOR UPWIND RWY 32 AT 4I8 (METRO).' SIMILAR CALLS AT 15, 10, 5, AND UPWIND, XWIND, DOWNWIND, BASE AND FINAL. NO OTHER ACFT HEARD ON FREQ OR OBSERVED. LNDG LIGHT, BEACON AND WINGTIP STROBES ALL OPERATING. I WAS CONCENTRATING INTENSELY (FACTOR) ON XWIND LNDG. AS UPWIND WHEEL TOUCHED DOWN, PAX NOTICED ANOTHER ACFT ON 3/4 MI FINAL TO RWY 14, DOWNWIND! WE HAD NO OPTIONS. CONCLUDED LNDG AND ROLLOUT. ON CLRING RWY, I QUERIED UNICOM IF ANY OTHER ACFT HAD RPTED IN THE PATTERN. NONE HAD. AT THAT MOMENT, ACFT B (NOW MIDFIELD ON THE RWY CTRLINE) RPTED 'DOWNWIND TO RWY 14.' ACFT B WAS ADVISED THAT RWY 32 WAS IN USE. ACFT B THEN ADVISED HE WAS 'UPWIND TO RWY 32.' LANDED W/O INCIDENT. HE HAD FLOWN A LONG, LOW, STRAIGHT-IN FINAL. NO LNDG LIGHT, STROBES OR BEACON OBSERVED. I EXPRESSED MY CONCERN TO FBO, NOT TRUSTING MYSELF TO DISCUSS IT WITH PIC OF ACFT B. SUGGESTED HE MENTION FAR 91.113 (E) AND (G) TO ACFT B. TO DIGRESS, ACFT B DID FINALLY SEE US ON THE RWY WHEN HE WAS ON SHORT FINAL AND INITIATED A GO AROUND. ACFT B NEVER MOVED OFF TO THE R SIDE OF THE RWY ON GO AROUND.
