Cleared to takeoff on runway 17; after the 80 kts call out; [we] noticed a small aircraft entering the runway to cross at C2. Aborted takeoff. Complied with immediate action items and QRH. Checked with flight attendant to make sure all passengers were good. Next takeoff was uneventful.
