Narrative:
When we arrived at the gate and opened the flight deck door; the purser reported that both aft galley flight attendants briefly smelled a burnt plastic smell during the taxi to the gate. A maintenance write up was reported and a call was placed to maintenance control and dispatch. The first officer and I stayed with the local tech ops team and flight attendants to fill out the smoke checklist and to trouble shoot the issue. After researching the issue; it was found to be deice fluid being sucked into the APU during the start. No further action taken.
