Narrative:

I was engaged in a training flight, my student, with a previous 40 hours of instruction from another cfii, checked out in an small aircraft the day before. Had planned 2 long x-country. On climb out I failed to check that he had turned on the pitot heat. My student was apprehensive (or seemed so on takeoff). Should have questioned him further! Upon entering the clouds, my student became spatially disoriented banking left. I corrected back thinking we were still climbing. Pitot system blocked. Stalled. Gear deployed. Student white knuckled. Fought me on controls. Gear deployed. Gear stuck. Had to talk to ATC, recover from stall. Get the student to relax. Recovered from stall, climbed out on top could not retract gear. Both hands busy. Lost pitot, gear and a/south indicator. Rejected landing at 2IY, continued to ilc. Landed aircraft. Refiled for fwa/cmh clearance issued 070 degree in lieu of arwys filed. Student fatigued. Changed routing direct rosewood. VOR failed. Notified (day). Vectors cmh/300' low/ blew through final approach corridor. Landed cmh, kissed ground, went home, wished it didn't happen, it did. Will not take student I have not trained into actual again.
