Narrative:
Passenger came to the flight deck after we landed. Said he worked for the FAA and said that he saw a drone pass on the right side of the aircraft. Said it was about 3 feet wide and a quadcopter. From the description from the passenger of where we were when he saw it I am guessing that it was before the approach. I am guessing we were between 5000-3000 feet. I informed the flight duty officer and base manager who were going to tell act.none
