Narrative:

I issued a clearance for small transport X to descend to 8000' from 12000'. An light transport Y departed the mry airport climbing to 6000' and requesting higher. I amended the clearance to small transport X to descend to 10000'. I then climbed the light transport Y to 9000', but the clearance to 10000' to small transport X was read back by small transport Z. Small transport X continued his descent to 8000' and became in conflict with the light transport Y climbing to 9000'. I failed to hear that the wrong aircraft responded to the clearance.
