Narrative:
The #2 thrust reverser was deferred under MEL (minimum equipment list) 78-1-01; which does not allow tanker fuel. Tanker fuel was added and planned by dispatch and was not identified by captain. Weather was good at departure and destination. We had a light load and pwb (performance weight and balance) was not an issue. Read the MEL in detail. Better communication about tankering fuel with an MEL from dispatch.
