Narrative:
Winds aloft were approximately 40 KTS. Surface winds less than 5 KTS. When I was about 15' over the ground the aircraft was almost pushed down. I suspect wind shear. The aircraft hit hard and bounced. I heard scraping and upon inspection found the propeller was bent back about 4' on both ends.

Title: SMA MAKES HARD LNDG, DAMAGING ACFT.
Narrative: WINDS ALOFT WERE APPROX 40 KTS. SURFACE WINDS LESS THAN 5 KTS. WHEN I WAS ABOUT 15' OVER THE GND THE ACFT WAS ALMOST PUSHED DOWN. I SUSPECT WIND SHEAR. THE ACFT HIT HARD AND BOUNCED. I HEARD SCRAPING AND UPON INSPECTION FOUND THE PROP WAS BENT BACK ABOUT 4' ON BOTH ENDS.
