Narrative:
The flight was to be a multi-leg flight originating in punta gorda, first officer, and ferrying an aircraft to switzerland. The flight departed punta gorda, fl on 3/tue/91 at PM00. After leveling at FL210, the gyros slowly ran down. Diversion was requested into orlando executive airport in orlando, first officer. The dg's started working again and the flight was continued up to FL230 and landed uneventfully in richmond, va at PM00. The flight departed out of richmond, va at AM00. At AM40, all the gyros were lost and non gyro assistance was requested for an approach to teb. The dg was removed and repaired. Loose hoses, improperly installed hoses and other defective repairs were corrected and the aircraft returned to service.

Title: SMA PLT ON FERRY FLT EXPERIENCES CONTINUING ACFT EQUIPMENT PROBLEM ON 2 SUCCESSIVE LEGS AS GYROS ARE LOST DUE TO VACUUM PROBLEMS.
Narrative: THE FLT WAS TO BE A MULTI-LEG FLT ORIGINATING IN PUNTA GORDA, FO, AND FERRYING AN ACFT TO SWITZERLAND. THE FLT DEPARTED PUNTA GORDA, FL ON 3/TUE/91 AT PM00. AFTER LEVELING AT FL210, THE GYROS SLOWLY RAN DOWN. DIVERSION WAS REQUESTED INTO ORLANDO EXECUTIVE ARPT IN ORLANDO, FO. THE DG'S STARTED WORKING AGAIN AND THE FLT WAS CONTINUED UP TO FL230 AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY IN RICHMOND, VA AT PM00. THE FLT DEPARTED OUT OF RICHMOND, VA AT AM00. AT AM40, ALL THE GYROS WERE LOST AND NON GYRO ASSISTANCE WAS REQUESTED FOR AN APCH TO TEB. THE DG WAS REMOVED AND REPAIRED. LOOSE HOSES, IMPROPERLY INSTALLED HOSES AND OTHER DEFECTIVE REPAIRS WERE CORRECTED AND THE ACFT RETURNED TO SVC.
