Narrative:
Inbound into ZZZ; at 300 ft. Prior to touchdown; the aircraft was unstable by being below glide path. I called for the go around and executed the proper steps. Afterwards; tower gave us instructions for vectors to come back into ZZZ. Over correction on pitch was the cause of the go around. PAPI indicates 4 red lights.over [correction] downward pitch was the cause of the go around. We were 4 red lights on the PAPI. Since it was a visual approach; when I saw the 4 red lights on the PAPI; went for the go around and reconfigured for climb out. Kick the autopilot off earlier to trim the aircraft to be pitched properly for landing.
