Narrative:
When selecting flaps to 25; we received te disagree EICAS message; forcing us to go-around. The flap handle was at 25 and the flaps stopped around 23 or 24. The go-around was uneventful; followed by an uneventful landing on runway X. We requested priority handling with ATC and requested the longer runway. ATC was helpful. This was the 3rd time this aircraft had been written up for the exact same problem!!flap problem....this had been written up twice in the last 3 days....the last time was the leg prior to our leg.
