Narrative:
On completion of pushback from gate; under current sip guidance; we called for taxi. Ground control informed us that in the future we must monitor 122.95 and advise prior to pushback. We queried ATC; they informed us this is a new procedure which commenced a few months back. The jeppesen; sip; briefing package cover page nor current notams reflect this. The jeppesen 10-9B states 'terminal ramp uncontrolled. Monitor 122.95 for ramp advisories'.
