Narrative:
My trnee gave a descent clearance to air carrier X before establishing 5 mi vertical sep. The trner (myself) was distracted by my supervisor. During this time I missed the trnee's clearance. There was no time to take evasive action. Air carrier Y went behind air carrier X.

Title: ACR X HAD LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION FROM ACR Y. SYSTEM ERROR.
Narrative: MY TRNEE GAVE A DSNT CLRNC TO ACR X BEFORE ESTABLISHING 5 MI VERT SEP. THE TRNER (MYSELF) WAS DISTRACTED BY MY SUPVR. DURING THIS TIME I MISSED THE TRNEE'S CLRNC. THERE WAS NO TIME TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION. ACR Y WENT BEHIND ACR X.
