Narrative:
On taxi out for takeoff on runway 16L at sea, RVR was reported for T/D midfield and rollout. The minimum reported was 1100. We referenced the airport chart for takeoff minimums and saw RVR 600 T/D, 600 midfield and 600 rollout. After departing on runway 16L, we looked at the airport chart again and found that the 600 RVR minimums referred to runway 16R. Takeoff minimums for runway 16L are 1600 RVR with no reference to T/D, midfield rollout. Hearing three RVR readings, all of which were 1100 or above, was a key in our minds that we had what we thought were minimums for our assigned departure runway. We all use ques to alert us to potential problems. In this case, we saw three minimum RVR indications of 600 on the airport chart. Hearing three RVR readings above 600, satisfied our concern for our takeoff minimums. I consider myself a vigilant pilot. In the future I will be even more aware of potential pitfalls and even more vigilant to guard against them.
