Narrative:
We were cleared by atl ground control to taxi from ramp (north of taxiway a at D) to runway 26L via D and east. On arrival at east, found several aircraft holding on east and delaying their departures due to thunderstorms over the airport. Ground approved a west turn on east, so we could observe the WX and our radar. I found that a takeoff could be safely made and requested an alternate route to the runway so I would not get trapped behind aircraft wishing to delay their departure. Ground instructed me to taxi to 26R via D and B. Taxi was in heavy rain with limited visibility and I passed (inadvertently) B15, the entrance to 26R, and stopped at the ILS hold line for 26L. Tower sent 1 aircraft on ILS final to 26R around, as they said we were in the ILS protected area. The entrance to B15 is poorly marked and it is not evident that B15 is the entrance to 26R from B. There is not hold line (ILS) on B east of B15 to warn of the protected area. I missed my turn, but the airport markings were no help. Suggest an ILS hold line on B east of B15.

Title: A TAXIING ACR MISSED A TXWY AND CAUSES AN ACFT ON FINAL TO GO AROUND. REPORTER BLAMES LACK OF TXWY SIGN AS PROBLEM.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED BY ATL GND CTL TO TAXI FROM RAMP (N OF TXWY A AT D) TO RWY 26L VIA D AND E. ON ARR AT E, FOUND SEVERAL ACFT HOLDING ON E AND DELAYING THEIR DEPS DUE TO TSTMS OVER THE ARPT. GND APPROVED A W TURN ON E, SO WE COULD OBSERVE THE WX AND OUR RADAR. I FOUND THAT A TKOF COULD BE SAFELY MADE AND REQUESTED AN ALTERNATE RTE TO THE RWY SO I WOULD NOT GET TRAPPED BEHIND ACFT WISHING TO DELAY THEIR DEP. GND INSTRUCTED ME TO TAXI TO 26R VIA D AND B. TAXI WAS IN HEAVY RAIN WITH LIMITED VISIBILITY AND I PASSED (INADVERTENTLY) B15, THE ENTRANCE TO 26R, AND STOPPED AT THE ILS HOLD LINE FOR 26L. TWR SENT 1 ACFT ON ILS FINAL TO 26R AROUND, AS THEY SAID WE WERE IN THE ILS PROTECTED AREA. THE ENTRANCE TO B15 IS POORLY MARKED AND IT IS NOT EVIDENT THAT B15 IS THE ENTRANCE TO 26R FROM B. THERE IS NOT HOLD LINE (ILS) ON B E OF B15 TO WARN OF THE PROTECTED AREA. I MISSED MY TURN, BUT THE ARPT MARKINGS WERE NO HELP. SUGGEST AN ILS HOLD LINE ON B E OF B15.
