Narrative:
As we descended from FL200, we were given 12000' as the altitude to maintain. The boston center gave us the local altimeter setting of 29.34, as we descended through FL180. We, in error, put 30.34 in the altimeter windows, which resulted in a deviation of 1000' below the assigned altitude of 12000'.
