Narrative:

Departed sua, VFR en route to lake placid, fl, private airstrip. Stuart control tower advised a thunderstorm to the south but WX looked good to the west and northwest. Encountered a line of very severe thunderstorms about 25 mi west of sua and could not go around or under. Was forced by the fast moving front to fpr and requested a special VFR landing. Landing was denied because of IFR traffic. The storm covered the entire area within mins of my arrival with zero zero visibility and wind of 45 mi. I was forced to go IFR into the storm, approximately 6 mi north of fpr. A heading of 270 degree and 2000' MSL was established, miami center was finally contacted and informed of the problem. I flew out of the storm into VFR on top conditions about 40 mi after entering the storm and IFR conditions.
