Narrative:
Departed ont flying the prado 2 departure. Made climbing left turn as per departure procedure. Was cleared to 7000'. Ont departure control advised us of small aircraft Y traffic 11 O'clock, 6500'. We were told to level at 6000'. We were level 6000' when departure asked small aircraft Y if he was descending. Shortly after that we got a TCAS TA, then RA climb, we started climb and advised ATC, who then cleared us to 7000'.

Narrative: DEPARTED ONT FLYING THE PRADO 2 DEP. MADE CLBING LEFT TURN AS PER DEP PROC. WAS CLRED TO 7000'. ONT DEP CTL ADVISED US OF SMA Y TFC 11 O'CLOCK, 6500'. WE WERE TOLD TO LEVEL AT 6000'. WE WERE LEVEL 6000' WHEN DEP ASKED SMA Y IF HE WAS DSNDING. SHORTLY AFTER THAT WE GOT A TCAS TA, THEN RA CLB, WE STARTED CLB AND ADVISED ATC, WHO THEN CLRED US TO 7000'.
