Narrative:
While on approach at msp, we received TCAS TA followed immediately by RA with an indicator red DOT 01-02 and audio, 'traffic climb.' we started climb above G/south an asked tower if they had traffic. They replied negative. (They said only traffic was an small transport on runway 11R. We also could see it.) an air carrier aircraft behind us reported an small aircraft Y at approximately 2400'. Their aircraft was not TCAS equipped.
