Narrative:
While on approach to landing, a rain shower to the north of the airport was restricting visibility. This rain shower was only about 2 mi away and I couldn't see through it; therefore, visibility appeared to be less than 3 mi on landing.

Narrative: WHILE ON APCH TO LNDG, A RAIN SHOWER TO THE N OF THE ARPT WAS RESTRICTING VISIBILITY. THIS RAIN SHOWER WAS ONLY ABOUT 2 MI AWAY AND I COULDN'T SEE THROUGH IT; THEREFORE, VISIBILITY APPEARED TO BE LESS THAN 3 MI ON LNDG.
