Narrative:

En route from lax to jfk, cruising at FL330 about 80 NM southwest of den, the master caution #1 engine low oil pressure light came on. The #1 engine oil pressure gauge read 0, and the oil quantity gauge went rapidly to 0. As we were going through the engine failure checklist to shut it down, the engine quit or flamed out. We dumped fuel to the maximum landing weight of the aircraft, diverted to den and landed west/O incident. Total time from the warning light to landing was 18 mins. I tried to keep ATC, the company, my crew and the passenger advised of all that was going on. I have a feeling, however, that I failed to advise ATC that we were dumping fuel.
