Narrative:
Our flight (bos-pwm) received the wrong departure (pre departure clearance) clearance in bos. It had the proper flight # and date, but was the pre departure clearance for the atl-bos leg. When transponder code was reported wrongly off the pre departure clearance, they only said, 'change squawk to read XXXX,' thus not alerting the crew to the error. After takeoff, crew found out altitude cleared to was wrong also, but did to violate any altitudes. Coordinated with bos ATC, company flight control and bos operations to find error causes and correct. Possible corrective action: 1) bulletins to alert flight crews to possible wrong pre departure clearance's. 2) highlight flight #, date and city pairs on the pre departure clearance for easy check for accuracy. 3) ask for full clearance readback if any of the pre departure clearance is changed.

Title: ACR LGT FLT CREW ISSUED INCORRECT PREDEP CLRNC.
Narrative: OUR FLT (BOS-PWM) RECEIVED THE WRONG DEP (PDC) CLRNC IN BOS. IT HAD THE PROPER FLT # AND DATE, BUT WAS THE PDC FOR THE ATL-BOS LEG. WHEN XPONDER CODE WAS RPTED WRONGLY OFF THE PDC, THEY ONLY SAID, 'CHANGE SQUAWK TO READ XXXX,' THUS NOT ALERTING THE CREW TO THE ERROR. AFTER TKOF, CREW FOUND OUT ALT CLRED TO WAS WRONG ALSO, BUT DID TO VIOLATE ANY ALTS. COORDINATED WITH BOS ATC, COMPANY FLT CTL AND BOS OPS TO FIND ERROR CAUSES AND CORRECT. POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE ACTION: 1) BULLETINS TO ALERT FLT CREWS TO POSSIBLE WRONG PDC'S. 2) HIGHLIGHT FLT #, DATE AND CITY PAIRS ON THE PDC FOR EASY CHK FOR ACCURACY. 3) ASK FOR FULL CLRNC READBACK IF ANY OF THE PDC IS CHANGED.
