Narrative:
Started going down J518 outbound from cleveland. Should have been going djb to belaire (J34), the next airway over to the left. I had my chart folded over and missed the fact that I was going down the wrong airway (J518). The next NAVAID was selected, yet we were not receiving it. I should have opened the chart a bit more to expose both starting and ending points of the jetway segment and highlighted it. Next time we doublechk everything. Supplemental information from acn 425698: the first officer and I by mistake started flying J518 (127 degrees) instead of J34 (147 degrees). So was busy with his en route duties. Center advised us and gave us a VOR downline on our route. We misread the airway and need to doublechk each other constantly.

Title: THE FLC OF AN ACR LGT FLEW THE WRONG AIRWAY UNTIL CORRECTED BY AN ARTCC RADAR CTLR.
Narrative: STARTED GOING DOWN J518 OUTBOUND FROM CLEVELAND. SHOULD HAVE BEEN GOING DJB TO BELAIRE (J34), THE NEXT AIRWAY OVER TO THE L. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 425698: THE FO AND I BY MISTAKE STARTED FLYING J518 (127 DEGS) INSTEAD OF J34 (147 DEGS). SO WAS BUSY WITH HIS ENRTE DUTIES. CTR ADVISED US AND GAVE US A VOR DOWNLINE ON OUR RTE. WE MISREAD THE AIRWAY AND NEED TO DOUBLECHK EACH OTHER CONSTANTLY.
